Thermal Transfer Labels require a ribbon which transfers print to your choice of media
when heat is applied through the print head.  You will require a foil / ribbon which is
most commonly one of two types as follows :- 

WAX Foils / Ribbons            -   For standard uncoated paper labels
WAX/RESIN Foils / Ribbons   -   For higher quality gloss or coated labels

Direct Thermal labels do not require a ribbon in order to create print on your choice
of media.  The print head applies pressure and heat to the material in order to cause
a chemical reaction to 'print' an image, (in a similar fashion to thermal fax paper).

Thermal labels on rolls now represent a large portion of the label market, which is growing             Thermal Printer Ribbons
rapidly, due to their effectiveness and ease of use.  Another factor is the proliferation
of manufacturers making machines to print thermal labels, which suit many different
budgets such as TEC, Zebra, Soabar, SATO, Citizen and Webber to name but a few.

          SEMI GLOSS    -     Most commonly supplied gloss material, lower gloss but still high quality finish

          MATT VELLUM  -     Our most popular Thermal Transfer Labels grade, matt finish, for value dependant applications

          CLEAR ROUND   -     Glass clear circular or round labels available with perforations for sealing products etc

          All Thermal Transfer Labels grades can additionally be supplied as coloured and opaque material

          TOP COATED    -    High quality output or for difficult environments, available Matt or Gloss

          SEMI COATED   -    Becoming established as the standard for 'good' industrial labels
