EDI labels or SKU labels are still commonly used on A4 sheets for many suppliers to large stores such as BHS, M & S and all other large retailers, using electronic data, orders are submitted to customers who subsequently use A4 labels to print their own product labels and warehouse barcode labels. These SKU labels and EDI labels are then stuck onto their designated products or pallets, then are easily located and tracked through the factory or warehouse and subsequently shipped into the large department stores when required. A4 sheet despatch and pallet labels, often with 4, 6 8 or 12 up on the A4 sheet are barcoded and stuck onto despatch sheets for couriers and delivered nationwide, then scanned and received.
